Shiitake mushrooms are an incredibly delicious ingredient that can be prepared in a variety of ways. Many people often stir-fry them with bok choy to create one of the most appealing vegetarian dishes.
Ingredients:
Bok choy: 5 stalks
Shiitake mushrooms: 4 pieces
Garlic: 4 cloves
Chili pepper: 1 piece
Seasonings, cooking oil
Instructions:
Remove any wilted or yellowed leaves from the bok choy, then wash it thoroughly and pat it dry. Cut the bok choy in half.
Wash the shiitake mushrooms and soak them in hot water for about 10 minutes before removing them.
Mince the garlic and chili pepper.
Heat cooking oil in a pan, then add the garlic and chili pepper to sauté until fragrant.
Add the bok choy and shiitake mushrooms to the pan and stir-fry evenly, adding seasonings to taste.
Stir gently until the bok choy is cooked through, then turn off the heat and transfer the dish to a plate to enjoy.
Tips:
You can also add other vegetables to this stir-fry, such as carrots, onions, or bell peppers.
For a more flavorful dish, you can marinate the shiitake mushrooms in a mixture of soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, and ginger before stir-frying them.
Serve this stir-fry with steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
